BGG Thread: Advice to a Game Designer

April 22, 2006

Tom Vasel has nicely extracted and compiled pieces ofadvice to game designers (and would-be game designers) from his voluminous series of “Interiews with an Optimist”. The advice comes from designers, publishers, and reviewers he has interviewed. Key themes seem to be “don’t have an ego”, “you won’t get rich” and “playtest”. This is the first part, so presumably he will have even more soon.
